The Best Cold-Weather Boots and Booties Under $100

Happy February!

We’re certainly starting this month of with some wintery fun! As of this morning, we’ve got around over a foot of snow and it’s still coming down full force.

I’ve mentioned previously that winter is my favorite season, so I’m loving this weather. In addition to the snow and colder temps, I love the winter holidays, and I especially love dressing in cozy but stylish winter clothes.

As usual, I’ve been doing plenty of shopping these past few months and I found some really great shoe options for the winter months!

Whether you’ve got snow on the ground, or just want to look the part, all of these beautiful and stylish finds fit the role for under $100.

I’ll also throw in a few at the end that are perfect for transitioning from winter to spring, since I know some of you are seeing the temperatures rise already! As always, click any image or link to open the retail site in a new window and shop!

My Favorite Winter Boots and Booties

These white and gray faux fur boots are perfect for any cold-weather activity from hiking to running errands to taking photos out in the snow. I love the touches of gray and the combat-style look of these. The white fur matches perfectly with several of my shearling coats and accessories, so these match really well with winter outfits. I got these shoes on sale for under $50, and they’re still marked down! They also come in some other colors and patterns including camouflage and an awesome cognac/black combo.

I got these black Timberlands over the summer when they were on sale, and I’m so glad I did! The quality is amazing, they’r super comfortable, and I love the extra fur detail on the top. These are a great style to wear in the fall and the winter, so I’ve gotten a lot of use out of them already. They also come in some more colors, such as gray, tan, and a faded burgundy that’s gorgeous.

I had never shopped at Akira before buying these brown faux fur boots, but I just couldn’t pass them up when I saw them on sale. Well worth trying out a new retailer, and such a chic and unique look! I love the brown and white contrast of these boots and, of course, love the fur (are you noticing a pattern here?). The heel on these is a little higher, making them perfect for a more dressed-up look. They look great with so many different outfits, and I can’t wait to continue styling them.

I remember seeing these Ugg boots all over Instagram in 2018, and finally found them for a good sale price in 2019. They’re my favorite style of Uggs that I’ve ever owned and I love that you can change up the look by folding down the top, the tongue, or both. These also come in black, but I love this tan color (“chestnut suede” to be exact). This is another pair that I wear for multiple seasons, but is especially nice and comfy in the winter months.

I fell in love with these off-white combat boots the moment I saw them, and luckily they were on sale! The color is so pretty in person and they add a nice clean finish to any outfit. The heel is nice and chunky so they’re easy to walk in, and they zip up on the inside so you don’t have to tie or untie them every time you put them on (priorities =P). I love when I can share items with you that are marked down, so I’m happy to say these beauties are still currently 40% off!

Hunter boots are a classic, but that doesn’t mean I was quick to buy them at over $100. I bided my time, stalked several retailers that carried them for months, and finally found this pretty purple pair at half off to make my own. I bought these a while ago but actually wore them this morning for the first time, and let me tell you, they are worth it! The rubber is soft and flexible, so it’s not going to rub against your feet and give you blisters like some other tall boots do. They kept me completely dry in over a foot of snow and were easy to walk around in. Obviously, these would also be great for rainy weather or any other situation where you want to stay protected.

Honorable Mentions

Here are a few other cold-weather shoes that I own and love:
The green combat boots are a great casual shoe, and I love the shearling tongue peeking out. They’re currently on sale for under $20 and come in three colors. The Zebra print booties are fabulous, with a fun pattern, nice-sized heel, and some faux black fur for added glam. These are also on sale. The olive heeled booties are another chic pair; I was excited to find these Dolce Vita shoes on sale. I love the pops of shearling and the deep green color of these contrasted with the wood-colored heel and sole.

Styles You Can Bring Into the Spring

These classic black booties can be worn year-round, but work especially well for the winter-to-spring transition. They’re comfortable and can be dressed up or down, and go great with long pants or a skirt, as shown above.

The over-the-knee boot trend is a great one, and I especially love when the boots make a statement like these snakeskin boots do. My favorite thing about these boots is that they stay up on your thighs, so you’re not constantly pulling them up or adjusting them. This pattern goes with almost anything and can be paired with a skirt or dress for warmer weather. These boots are also still on sale!

I got these Adidas running sneakers during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and often wear them casually or for walking. They’re a great neutral shoe and comfortable and supportive enough to wear daily. When the weather starts warming up and the grown isn’t as snowy, these will definitely come back to my regular rotation.
