I’ve been spending a lot of my free time reading up on current events, white privilege, and ways to fight back against racial injustice.
I’m planning on doing some blog posts related to that soon, but would like to do some more research and will leave the podium free for Black voices and experiences at the moment.
Aside from that, I’ve been trying to figure out a Father’s Day gift for my dad! He’s so hard to buy for, and if any of the dads in your life are, too, hopefully this guide helps to inspire you.

For the Grill Master
There are very few guys I know that aren’t obsessed with grilling! If your dad, husband, grandfather, etc. loves to get out and grill in the Summer, these are some great gift options for him!
For the Fitness Freak
If the dad in your life is into working out and staying active, these are great gifts! I especially like the water bottle with a sleeve for your phone; perfect for the gym, an outdoor run, or even a bike ride!
For the Sentimental
If you’re looking for something a little more personal and less materialistic, a custom piece is sure to do the trick. I’ve gotten my dad a lot of personalized frames, mugs, and plaques over the years and he has always kept them on display.
For the Fancy Dresser
These gifts are a little more expensive, but they’re all on sale! If the dad you’re buying for likes to dress up, these are sure to pleasantly surprise him on Father’s Day!
For the Sports Fan
Sports gifts have kind of become my go-to for guys that are hard to buy for, and they’re perfect for Father’s Day! Obviously, if I was really going to show my favorites everything below would be Yankees gear, but I’ve included a variety and there are a lot of other team/league options.
